While service men and women are rightly honored for their sacrifice, some of the unsung heroes are the parents who also sacrifice in sending their children into harm's way. This Proud Parent of an Airman challenge coin offers comforting scripture and expresses gratitude to every parent who has known the anxiety that comes with a child in service. One side of the coin features the verse from 1 Corinthians 13:7 saying, "Love bears all things, hopes all things, endures all things, love never fails." along side, In God We Trust. The reverse side of the coin features the Air Force logo and the words, Integrity First, Service Before Self & Excellence In All We Do. This coin measures 1.75 by 1.75 inches, and is blue and gold.
