Matthew was witness to Jesus by the Sea of Galilee when they came upon two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew who were fishermen. Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men (Matt. 4:19). These fishermen called by Jesus, immediately left their careers, and eventually became members of the disciples of Jesus, the twelve (Matt. 4:18-22). He taught them to be like Him. What does it mean to be like Jesus? In this complex world, how is that possible? To proclaim the message of Christ one must be born again (John 3:57). Not perfect but saved. Declare your faith in Jesus, be fishermen of people. Live a faith-fueled life. And tell others the Good News.
