The One Thing You Must Understand About Love
It’s not a yes.
We think: If you love me, you will; but sometimes love is no.
So, love is yes and love is no; and I would suggest that saying no is probably more often love than yes is. Because yes is easier.
Love is not doing what is easy and convenient. Sometimes it is hard to say no and sometimes it is hard to say yes.
But love does what it believes is truly best for you.
We think, well, if you love me, you will encourage me and support me.
Not if we don’t believe what you are doing is best for you. If we love you, we are not going to support and encourage you in that.
So, love is yes and love is no. Think about it.
James 5:20 Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
Trust God’s Word no matter what.
Keep your eyes on the horizon.
