Why So Many Highly Successful People Are Empty

I would like to talk with you today about why so many highly successful people are empty. They are empty because they fill themselves, and a tree isn’t nourished by its own fruit. So, if we fill ourselves, we feed off our own fruit and we are malnourished. It’s not success that makes us empty. It’s depending on our success to fill us that does that. The world teaches us we should get all we can. We should can it and then we should bury the can, and that’s what leaves us empty. Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 16:25 Any of you who try to save the life you have will lose it. But you who give up your life for me will find true life. Trust God’s Word no matter what. Keep your eyes on the horizon.
