Your problem is believing the lie that you should be secure. You know you’re not, but you are told that you should be. So, you fight to be something that you can’t be, and that’s a trap.
Nothing concerns me more than someone who believes they are totally secure in and of themselves. They are foolish, because they are just like you and me. They are not really secure, either. You can’t manufacture security.
The only place we find security is in Christ.
When we do that, we can stop fighting to be secure and start fighting to live a loving life. Then we will find what we are really looking for—which is courage—courage in Christ.
I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.
Trust God’s Word, no matter what.
Keep your eyes on the horizon.
If you haven’t already, read my book, “The Right Fight: How To Live a Loving Life.”I spent seven years writing it. It will help you set your life on a path of fruitfulness and show you how to live a loving and courageous life instead of a life driven by fear. Order the book on Amazon and at shieldsofstrength.com .
