What is the meaning of the Weight Plate Necklace?

Shields of Strength weight plate necklace creation was inspired by a Beaumont, Texas High School Powerlifting coach and has become one of the more recognizable items in the company’s men’s and women’s fitness product line. Most athletes now train year-round for their sports competitions. Weight training is a critical element of their strength training. The weight plate pendant is currently being worn by thousands of athletes across the nation from little league players to professional athletes. Shields of Strength provides multiple Biblical scripture choices to inspire the wearer to trust God’s Word no matter the challenge or adversity before them by reading the scripture and putting God’s Word, which resides in the redeemed heart, into real-time action. Shields of Strength weight plate pendant is the perfect buy for all fitness and sports enthusiasts. Ever wonder why weight plates are round? In general, rounded plates distribute the force of impact more evenly when hitting a floor or equipment, keeping the force of impact at a minimum for the lifter. Additionally, a rounded weight plate provides more stability when the weight plates and bar interfaces on contact with the floor between reps.

What is the meaning of Philippians 4:13?

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. NAS

- The Immediate Action -

Just moments before, in verse ten of Philippians 4, Paul wrote: But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly and now at last your care for me has flourished. What was happening in his life at that moment? The apostle Paul, a disciple of Jesus, divinely inspired, wrote these amazing words while imprisoned in Rome awaiting trial for preaching the Truth. The congregation at the church Philippi, which Paul had helped plant, had sent a courier with gifts for him. The Roman prisons of his time were not accommodating by any standard. Paul looked forward to the gifts which could not come as frequently as needed. It was through these trials that he learned contentment. Paul had an amazingly positive attitude – ever so confident even while in such dank, disagreeable conditions. Paul had lived in wealth and privilege, leaving the comfort of his lifestyle to serve Jesus. His service for Jesus Christ brough extraordinary hardships. How did he excel, keep such a positive attitude and complete contentment? In, “Christ who strengthens me.” He looked to Jesus for satisfaction that resulted in contentment. The shackles and chains he was forced to wear while imprisoned must have been extremely heavy and burdensome, a constant reminder of his suffering, wants and needs. Yet he reminded himself, “I am capable because of Him (Psalm 23,34:7-9).

Christ who strengthens me is a challenge for all redeemed, living, working, and competing in this present age. When times are good and plentiful it is easy not to rely so much on Jesus. Some can even forget to pray or set aside time for prayer. Paul is encouraging the reader to be content in good, prosperous times and in times of need and want. It is Christ that strengthens the believer’s mind, body, and soul. Are you carrying the weight of life? Remind yourself that you are not alone, but by grace, Jesus Christ is with you.
