What is the meaning of the Duck Band necklace and Philippians 4:13?

Bible Verse: Phil 4:13 - “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” The central message of Philippians 4:13 is thankfulness. It was the Apostle Paul, a bondservant to Christ, who founded the Philippi church (Acts 16:12-40). Years later Paul was imprisoned in Rome. The Lord did not forget Paul. A small church group of members put action into their commit to the Lord and fellowship with one another and visited Paul with much needed supplies (4:10). In his divinely inspired words through the Holy Spirit and filtered through his unique personality, Paul wrote with thanksgiving explaining how he could experience contentment while locked away from the world. I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me! The redeemed, in faith are capable of experiencing contentment because of Him, Christ Jesus. The redeemed soul unburdens the heart in prayer (v6), diverts anxieties, releases the grip of grief, and experiences the divine peace of God through prayer (v7). In those glorious moments, the mind opens to His possibilities. The soul is refreshed with His love and contentment is experienced. Therefore, Paul was able to bear the burdens and trials of his imprisonment. What burden is upon your heart? What trial are you facing that is hindering the joy Christ desires for you? Christ does not call His own to be stoic, but to turn to Him for His divine strength. Jack Miner, Canadian pioneer in banding migrating waterfowl, did not have the peace of Christ within him. It was a young girl who shared her testimony of writing a Bible verse on each day of her calendar. Miner had a calling from the Lord that turned his life around. In 1915, he began stamping bible verses on the duck bands. He called it sending out bird missionaries. He found the peace he needed in his life. He was thankful and content so much so that he became a better person, more loving to his family, stopped his addictions and became like Paul ... content. The Shields of Strength Duck Band Necklace is inscribed with “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” on the outside and "Banded to my Savior” on the inside.
