Antique Finish T.I.N.E. T.A.F.L. Necklace - Romans 8:38

There Is No End To A Father’s Love

T.I.N.E. sits above and T.A.F.L. below a cross on this antique finish shield. The initials stand for “There Is No End To A Father’s Love.” The reverse carries a Romans 8:38-inspired inscription about a father’s enduring love.

The story behind T.I.N.E. T.A.F.L.

Shields of Strength tells how Chaplain Larry Sharp, a MEDIVAC pilot in Vietnam, prepared his family for a possible Desert Storm deployment. At bedtime he said “There Is No End,” and his children answered “To A Father’s Love.” Their shortened exchange, T.I.N.E. T.A.F.L., became a reminder of his love during separation. The shield honors service members who leave loved ones behind.

Choice & use

Choose a chain length for where the shield will sit. A father can give it to a child before time apart, with the family exchange carrying meaning beyond the initials.
