Do You Have Hope?

Hope
"Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: the faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease" -Lamentations 3:21-22
Work As Though It Is All Up To Me
There have been so many times in my life where I have stopped hoping. It has felt at times that my hopes, dreams, and plans for my life on this Earth have been crushed, pushed aside, or forgotten , despite the effort I put forth. I can remember being a new doctor in residency, and doing everything I could for a patient, but the patient was not better right away. Day after day, night after night, I would work endlessly on a patient case, and sometimes see little to no result right away, and it became exhausting.
Pray As Though It Is All Up To God
I then began to turn to the Lord more and more for hope and guidance. And so often, a patient would eventually begin responding to a treatment, or sometimes the outcome was not as I had hoped. But, I had to realize that was the Lord's will, and his never ending love was guiding not only me, but my patients.
Hope In The Lord
It is so easy to put our hope in the simple idea of immediate success or visible results. When we don't see it right away, we begin to lose hope. This is why it is so important to put your hope in the Lord. Turn all of your hopes over to Him in prayer. Rely on Him for everything, and constantly remind yourself that God loves you endlessly!
Peace
When you rely on God, you will see your relationship with the Lord grow stronger, and you will become more at peace with life, because you know that the Lord is in full control and he has blessings for you that you never imagined. Our God is a wonderful God full of mercy and love , and wants the best for us all, and wants us to turn to Him in everything.
