How Do You Put Something in God’s Hands?

How Do You Put Something in God’s Hands?

The way I used to think I was putting something in God’s hands, was by coming to a point that I couldn’t take it anymore. I didn’t know what to do anymore. I would give up and say, Lord I am just going to leave it in your hands…whatever happens, happens. But that’s putting it in the hands of chance. If you are going to put something in God’s hands, this is how you do it. You know what God’s Word says about the situation or circumstance you are facing. You choose to trust His Word more than you do …

Should You Do What Feels Right?

Should You Do What Feels Right?

Should You Do What Feels Right? This truth will change your life: should you do what you feel is right?God didn’t give you feelings so you would follow them. My feelings could care less what is right. What is right to me is how you make me feel right now. You hurt me then I hurt you worse. You love me and I love you more until you hurt me.So. I’m letting you and my feelings control my life. All that leads me to fight for lies that destroy me; and leads me to encourage others to destroy their live …

Should we trust our feelings?

Should we trust our feelings?

I have learned never to just follow my feelings. If I wanted to wreck someone’s life, I would advise them to just do what they feel is right. That said, I never ignore my feelings either. I check them with the truth. First I go to God’s Word, and if my feelings don’t align with God’s Word, I trust God’s Word, not my feelings. Then I ask the people I trust for their insight. I dig for the truth until I believe I have it, and let the feelings follow me. This is not easy but it’s essential! Don’t f …

What is the difference between valid and invalid feelings?

What is the difference between valid and invalid feelings?

Valid or not valid- don’t allow feelings to lead your life. Consider them, but don’t follow them. In my own life, nothing has mislead me more than my feelings. Now and then they lead me to truth, but most often to destruction. If we follow our feelings, we will live a life based on a lie that has one goal. To use us to hurt the people around us in the process of destroying ourself. Seek the truth and follow the truth regardless of your feelings. The truth leads to fruitfulness. If you haven’t re …

What to do whenever someone is rude to you

What to do whenever someone is rude to you

The trap is selfishness, the bait is offense, and the only way out is love. Love seeks the truth and sees life inside out. Fear sees life outside in. All fear cares about is what you do and how it makes it feel. Love also has feelings, but it stops and considers why you did what you did. It seeks truth and refuses to let offense lead it to be defensive. Fear is either the plaintiff or the defendant. Love sits on the jury of its own life. Luke 6:35, “But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, …

Knowing the difference between

Knowing the difference between

I have done and so often see people saying they are doing things in the name of God when in reality, it’s the opposite of what God would have me or them do. It’s also far too common to give Satan credit for what the law of God is enforcing. When we pay a price for sin, it’s a blessing not a curse. When we get what we want for selfishness, it’s a curse not a blessing. God won’t bless selfishness because He loves us. If we are unsure if we are following the Holy Spirit or our own feelings, we shou …

Are feelings good or bad?

Are feelings good or bad?

Feelings are real and they are for a reason. They are also valid, but more than anything they are misleading. Sometimes our feelings lead us to the truth, but more often than not, if we follow them we will be led astray. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? Proverbs 28:26 Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered. 1 John 3:20 For whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our hea …
