What Being Loved Says About You

What Being Loved Says About You

Posted by Kenny Vaughan on 20th Apr 2023

The truth is it says nothing about you. It does say a whole lot about the people around you, but nothing about you. What says something about you is if the people around you are loved. It’s the same thing with not being loved. It normally says very little about us, but a lot about the people around us. If everyone struggles to love us, that may be an indication that we are hard to love and that we need to strive to be more loving and become easier to love. Jesus Christ was love. No one has ever been more loving than Jesus. He wasn’t loved, he was crucified. Loving defines you. Being loved does not. Philippians 2:3-10 Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made Himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. Trust God’s Word no matter what. Keep your eyes on the horizon.
