Why do people bully?

Posted by Kenny Vaughan on 20th Aug 2019

Bullying as we all know is an attempt to manipulate other people. It’s an effort by people to get what the bully wants without regard for other people. A bully is someone who either willingly rejects the truth or doesn’t know the truth. They are unwilling to change and won’t listen to truth that suggest they should. Either way, they don’t feel safe standing for the truth fearing it will cost them too much. So they attempt to manipulate and control others by overwhelming power, shame, or the threats of shame. They believe if they say anything with enough confidence it’s true, so they project insane boldness when in reality they are scared to death. They fear the truth more than anything else, because it may mean they are the ones that need to change. What they don’t know is that though the truth may mean they must change, it will also actually set them free! It will save their lives and help the people around them. Don’t hate bully’s. Do your best to love them. Enabling them is not loving them. If you can’t stop a bully then get away from them. John 8:32 “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
