Women's Airplane Cross Necklace - Isaiah 40:31

An airplane cross paired with Isaiah’s wings image

The horizontal wings make this women’s cross read as an aircraft as well as a cross. The design honors aviation while its reverse ties the shape to Isaiah 40:31: “They shall mount up with wings as eagles.”

A verse about renewed strength

Isaiah’s chapter speaks to people who grow tired and are invited to hope in the Lord. The eagle image describes renewed strength and endurance.

Shields of Strength designed this cross to honor the men and women who carry passengers by air and to honor Jesus Christ. The wing-shaped crossbeam represents Christ and pilots who lift up and carry us when we are weary. It may be especially meaningful to someone whose work involves aviation and whose faith is central to that work.

Choose it for an aviation connection

A recipient who flies or works around aircraft will see that interest in the front; the Isaiah line supplies the faith meaning behind it. The men’s Airplane Cross carries the same verse with 18 to 30 inch chains.
