Anger and all sin are most often our enemy. I do believe there is a righteous anger, but it’s rare. Righteous anger is anger for the damage sin causes, or an anger for someone using love to hurt people....using Jesus to manipulate people. That’s why Jesus threw the tables. Three Differences Between Love and Fear
If we hate people, we are allowing fear to rule our lives. The only thing we should hate is sin because sin and selfishness destroys lives. Love and selflessness saves lives and builds them. Jesus is love! Loving selfish people may mean loving them from a distance. We don’t have to like people to love them. Loving them is doing what is best for them without regard for ourselves, and praying they surrender to love so love will also rule their lives. In “The Right Fight” I discuss this at length.
