I get hurt and you get hurt. Some of us get hurt far worse than others. Being hurt though says nothing about us. How we respond to hurt says much about us. Does love always do what others want?

If we really love someone, we tell them the truth as kindly as we can. Our goal is not to speak our mind or prove our point. It’s to help someone we love see the truth for their own sake. So we do all we can to communicate the truth in a way they are most likely to receive it. That’s the best we can do. After that we must trust God and pray they do as well.
