Is It Possible to Love in Vain?

No, it’s really not possible to love in vain. Because the purpose of loving is not to change other people, it is to change you.
It’s like the fruit changes the tree but it is not for the tree.
Why do you think God is always telling us to make sure we love, but never telling us to make sure we are loved. For one, we are already are loved. And, number two, is because it is loving that changes who you are, not being loved.
Think about it. Trust God’s Word no matter what, because His Word is truth.
Keep your eyes on the horizon.
