How Can I Know if I’m Going in the Wrong Direction?
One way to know you are going in the wrong direction is if everyone else is going the same direction. You know, the world is led by fear. We say: the world this, the world that. What is the world? The world is selfishness and it’s lead by fear so it’s always doing what’s best for itself, without regard for others. The world is always doing what feels right. So, you think, if everybody else is doing it, it can’t be wrong. No, no, no!! If everybody else is doing it, it almost can’t be right. Because

How to trust God
Trusting God is not trusting that whatever happens is God’s will. What happens can be for a lot of reasons. God never said all things happen for a reason. He said all things work together for the good of those who love Him. For me, trusting God is a never ending battle with my own feelings. Sometimes my feelings align with God’s Word and when they do, it’s so easy. The rest of the time, my feelings contradict God’s Word, and that’s where the battle takes place. I have learned the hard way when i

Should we trust our feelings?
I have learned never to just follow my feelings. If I wanted to wreck someone’s life, I would advise them to just do what they feel is right. That said, I never ignore my feelings either. I check them with the truth. First I go to God’s Word, and if my feelings don’t align with God’s Word, I trust God’s Word, not my feelings. Then I ask the people I trust for their insight. I dig for the truth until I believe I have it, and let the feelings follow me. This is not easy but it’s essential! Don’t f

How to build trust in a relationship
Truly faithful people are easy to trust. Maybe no one will ever be more faithful than someone who has truly repented for being unfaithful. The question then becomes, how do we know if someone has truly repented? I would suggest to you, it’s not hard to tell. If someone has truly repented for being unfaithful, even the smallest thing that in any way, shape, or form resembles unfaithfulness will scare them to death. They will not only be faithful with the big things, they will also be faithful wit

What does it mean to trust God?
Trusting God is not equal to just trusting everything will work out. It also doesn’t mean “all things happen for a reason.” All things do happen for a reason, but many times the reason is our selfishness or someone else’s selfishness, or the effects of living on a fallen earth. God’s Word doesn’t say all things happen for a reason. It says all things work together for the good of those who love Him. In order to trust God, we must first know what He says, then fight to do what He says, and then t

Should we fight fear?
Fear requires your help to hurt you. It’s bait is hurt and it’s greatest trap is self defense. Please don’t fight fear. It’s the wrong fight. It’s the fight for your fruit. The fight for your own destruction. The Right Fight is the fight for love. The fight for your roots not your fruit. The fight to love not to be loved. Matthew 16:25,”For if you want to save your own life, you will lose it; but if you lose your life for my sake, you will find it.” 1 John 4:18,”There is no fear in love. But per

7 Signs someone may love you #6
It’s not loving to knowingly allow people with no intention of changing to keep running over you. That’s selfishness. Love does trust and seeks truth, and if people are truly repentant after failing, then love trusts again and again. We all fail - often even when love rules our life. We have a responsibility to seek the truth and pray and decide if someone is really in the fight to live a loving life. If they are, we should trust God, pray for them, and give them a second chance. Trusting someon

What does it mean to really trust God?
Trusting God is looking at your circumstances, looking at your fears, looking at God’s Word and deciding to trust what God says more than anything else. In the end, after looking at all options, we all act on something and we all trust something. It’s really crazy to think our feelings are more dependable than God’s Word, yet it’s still a tough fight to trust God’s Word when our feelings are so real. Feelings being real does not make them valid or true. “The Right Fight” is the fight to trust Go
