What happens when we miss God
Missing God doesn’t derail our life. Because of Jesus, repentance can have us right back on track quickly. It may take us longer to get there from where we are, and it may be a harder road to travel, but God will use it all for our good if we love Him and are willing to change directions. The only thing that can derail us for the long haul is an unwillingness to repent and a decision to put ourself first at all cost. That decision will keep us on a path away from God until we repent. II Corinthians 7:9-10, “Yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way. Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret.”
