Large Split Weight Plate Necklace-Genesis 31:49

A stainless steel weight plate divided for two

This large weight plate is a pair of necklaces: two stainless steel halves made to be worn separately and joined again. The front completes the Shields of Strength plate when the wearers come together. Each half keeps Genesis 31:49 in view while they are apart.

Faith and design

“May the Lord watch between you and me while we are apart.” The words of Genesis 31:49 appear on each pendant back. The verse comes from the Mizpah account of Jacob and Laban, and here serves as a shared prayer for people separated by distance, whether partners, friends or family.

• One meaningful piece for each person: Both halves carry the passage, so each wearer keeps the whole verse.
• Stainless steel alternative: This version has stainless steel pendants as well as chains, with a brighter finish than the antique zinc pair.
