Grieving is important. Moving on too fast can be just as damaging as not moving on at all. There is a grieving process, and the time it takes to move on will depend on how much we lost. The most forgiving people I have ever met are those who believe they have been forgiven of much. The truth is, we have all been forgiven of much. Forgiveness does not require feelings of forgiveness. Anger and all sin are most often our enemy. I do believe there is a righteous anger, but it’s rare. If we hate people, we are allowing fear to rule our lives. The only thing we should hate is sin because sin and selfishness destroys lives. Love and selflessness saves lives and builds them.
